More than 20 years ago, I withdrew from the political process. The system was obviously rigged and I washed my hands of the whole affair. In 2008, some friends encouraged me to re-register and vote for Ron Paul. I resisted, not wanting to be again taken in by the system that had seduced me in the past.

Early this year, I was again approached to support Dr. Paul. I cautiously agreed to consider the possibility of becoming politically active once more, but warned my friends that Congressman Paul has an uphill fight if he is going to convince me to join the fight. My vote cannot be bought, sold, or traded like some piece of shoddy merchandise.

I gave him an earnest ear and to my amazement, the sincerity of the man, combined with his reasoned arguments that resonated with my own beliefs, made the difference. Like me, Ron Paul cannot be had for a price. I will vote for no other candidate than Ron Paul.

America is in trouble. Our ‘leaders’ have pushed us to the brink of financial ruin. They have allowed the rich and powerful to dictate public policy to the point where Americans are regularly molested before boarding aircraft. If the present trend continues, we will lose all our remaining freedom and dignity in just a few short years. America is reaping as she has sown.

An increasing number of people are recognizing that there must be revolution before things can change for the better. Ron Paul offers what might be the last opportunity we have for peaceful revolution. The old political maxim is no less true today than it was in the past – “when ballots fail, bullets prevail.” It is my hope that the former will win the day. It is my fear that it will be the latter.

America cannot survive without honest leadership. At present, Ron Paul is the only candidate that fits the bill.

For those who stand for the cause of liberty there can be only two choices for president: Ron Paul, or no one at all.
